Dr. James Benedict
Dr. Benedict began his education at Kent State University. He was accepted at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in his third year where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
Dr. Benedict completed his residency at the Foot Clinic of Youngstown. He is Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, member of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, and Member and Treasurer, Mideastern Academy of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Benedict has been in practice in Kent since 1984 when he joined his father Edward J Benedict, DPM (now retired) becoming Benedict Podiatry Group. He served in the United States Air Force for 2 years of active duty, and 4 years with the Reserve. He is married and lives in Kent with his wife Judy. He is also Member and Treasurer of the Kent Lions Club, Melvin Jones Fellow.
